The son of a Houston priest found dead in his apartment with his wife and their young child has been charged with murder, NBC affiliate KPRC reported. Isaac Tiharihondi was taken into custody around 2:30 a.m. local time Wednesday in Jackson, Mississippi, by FBI agents, and was charged with two counts of capital murder, the station reported. He was being held Wednesday afternoon in the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond, Mississippi.
The priest, Israel Ahimbisibwe, his wife, Dorcus, and their young son, Israel Ahimbisibwe Jr., also known as Jay, were found dead Monday after members of his congregation grew concerned that he hadn't shown up for Sunday services. Neighbors reported last seeing Tiharihondi on the property Friday evening, KPRC reported.
