Florida police say this thief doesn't have a prayer.
The suspect was caught on video swiping a woman's purse at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church in North Lauderdale on Dec. 20, the Broward County Sheriff's Office said.
The surveillance camera footage shows the man casing the church from a seat in the back, leaving and then quickly returning to slide the pocketbook off the chair.
By the time the 84-year-old woman noticed her purse was gone, the thief had fled. The purse was found a nearby cemetery — but the money inside had been taken, police said.
