The last remaining teen fugitive from a Tennessee juvenile detention center was captured Sunday after he and twelve other inmates escaped from the facility on Friday, according to police. Timothy Willis, 16, was spotted by an officer a day after the Woodland Hills Youth Development Center announced he was on the loose, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. Woodland Hills has suffered from three security breaches in the past month. Thirty two teens escaped from the facility in early September, and in the latest incident, the young inmates assaulted a guard and stole his keys, allowing 13 to flee.
Most of the teens who escaped Friday were involved in the previous two incidents, according to a statement by Woodland Hills officials. "Since the last set of escapes, the department has been rapidly upgrading security," the statement said. There were 65 inmates and 14 staff members on campus on Friday night, officials said.
