A motorist died after being shot shortly after his vehicle struck and killed a two-year-old child in Milwaukee, officials said Sunday. A 15-year-old male was also shot in the wake of the collision and later died during surgery.
Milwaukee Police say the child was fatally struck after running into a street on the city's north side about 3 p.m. local time (4 p.m. ET). The 41-year-old driver remained on the scene and was later shot along with the teen. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the teen was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police told NBC station WTMJ.
No arrests were immediately made.
