A Kentucky distillery burst into flames Friday, injuring two workers, officials said. The cause of the explosion was not immediately known.
The explosion at the Silver Trail Distillery in the town of Hardin happened late Friday morning, said Marshall County Sheriff Kevin Byars.
"It erupted in flames, and the distillery is a total loss," Byars said.
The two injured employees were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, he said. The extent of their injuries wasn't clear.
Video from NBC affiliate WPSD showed gray plumes of smoke filling the air and fire trucks on the scene.
Silver Trail Distillery opened in 2011. It's been featured on Discovery Channel's "Moonshiners" series and has won taste awards.
