The Department of Homeland Security has ramped up its crackdown on truckers in recent months, arresting and detaining foreign-born drivers in sweeps at rest stops and weigh stations. The Trump administration is also asking a federal appeals court to uphold its rule issued last year to revoke the commercial licenses of nearly 200,000 drivers born outside the U.S.
