A car crashed through a fence and then hit a sunbather at a Plantation home, authorities said.
The female sunbather was taken to Broward General Medical Center in serious condition after the crash at 5181 S.W. 21st Court, Plantation Fire Rescue said.

Wood planks from the smashed fence were strewn about afterward. A flattened white lounge chair lay on the ground by a pool.
The car appears to have gone through three yards before it came to a rest against a home.
Its driver, who is in her 60s, had minor injuries and was also taken to Broward Health, authorities said.
