Seven people were killed after a van and a truck collided on U.S. Highway 20 in Idaho on Thursday.
The crash happened near Henry’s Lake, about 20 miles west of Yellowstone National Park.
Troopers with Idaho State Police responded around 7:15 p.m. to find that a Dodge Ram pickup and a Mercedes passenger van had collided.
The van was operating as a tour vehicle and had 14 people onboard, and there was one person in the truck, police said. The van caught fire following the crash.

Six people in the van and the driver of the pickup truck died, police said. At least 16 patients were treated on the scene, with the severity of the injuries requiring at least three air ambulances.
The pickup's driver was identified as 25-year-old Isaih Moreno of Humble, Texas, officials said Friday.
On the van were 12 Chinese nationals, one Italian national and the driver, who was licensed in California, according to Idaho State Police. They were traveling to Yellowstone National Park for an excursion organized by Ctour Holliday LLC when the crash happened. The tour company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Five Chinese nationals were killed and eight others were injured in the incident, according to China's official news agency, Xinhua. The Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco has requested a thorough investigation from U.S. authorities.
"As part of the investigation, the deceased will be transported to the Ada County Coroner’s Office for autopsy and formal confirmation of identity," Idaho State Police said in an update on Saturday. "This step is essential to ensure accurate identification and documentation."
Five people were taken to Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, according to spokesperson Douglas McBride. Two were admitted and are in stable condition, and three were released. The majority of the victims are related, McBride said, adding that he can not share additional information.
Idaho State Police said "no information regarding the medical status of the injured will be released," out of respect for their privacy.
U.S. Highway 20 was closed for approximately seven hours while first responders cleared the scene, police said. The road has since been reopened.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
