Texas law enforcement officials on Monday continued scouring for a 19-year-old who was reported missing after she did not return from her typical morning walk on Christmas Eve.

Camila Mendoza Olmos was last seen leaving her house in northwest Bexar County at roughly 6:58 a.m. on Dec. 24, according to the sheriff's office.

Security camera video shows a person believed to be Olmos looking inside her car for an unidentified item, the sheriff's office said on social media. The video ends moments later.

Olmos' aunt confirmed to NBC News that the video was recorded on a neighbor's doorbell camera.

Officials believe Olmos left her house on foot. "The only items known to be on her person are her car key and possibly her driver's license," the sheriff's office said in a post on Facebook.

She was last seen wearing a baby-blue and black hoodie, baby-blue pajama bottoms and white shoes.

Nancy Olmos, Camila’s mother, told the sheriff’s office that her daughter usually goes out for a morning walk. She grew concerned when the 19-year-old did not come back after a normal length of time.

“She’s not the kind of person” to leave home abruptly, Nancy Olmos told NBC News, adding that the family found Camila's turned-off cellphone in her room.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar told ABC News on Sunday that Olmos is believed to be in "imminent danger." The sheriff's office did not immediately reply to an email from NBC News seeking more information on that characterization.

Salazar separately told NBC News that Olmos’ mental health may have been a factor in her disappearance, saying in part that she was experiencing “some depression issues.”

"We have to look at the whole gamut of possibilities," Salazar added. "Did she leave the country? Did she leave the country in the company of somebody else? Has she been taken against her will?"

In an interview with NBC affiliate WOAI-TV in San Antonio, Olmos' friends described her as a fun-loving young woman who enjoys going to church services. They expressed shock over her disappearance.

"It's completely not normal to know that she's not home," a friend identified as Estrella told the affiliate station.
