Kosovo police fired teargas at the crowd attempting to storm the parliament in Pristina to protest against talks of Kosovo's Prime Minister Hashim Thaci with his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic last week in Brussels, Belgium. The protest was called by the Kosovo Albanian nationalist movement Vetevendosje (Self-determination), which fiercely opposes the EU-sponsored talks with Serbia aimed at improving relations. From Reuters : PRISTINA - Police in Kosovo fired teargas and made dozens of arrests on Monday in clashes with opposition activists demonstrating against a new push by the European Union to improve ties between Serbia and its former southern province.
