Activists held multiple protests in New Delhi Thursday in reaction to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to the Indian capital.
Exiled Tibetans and other activists demonstrated outside the hotel where Xi was staying in New Delhi and at the Hyderabad House, where he sat down for formal talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These meetings addressed efforts to improve relations between China and India.
