

Pakistanis across the country continued vigils Thursday to pray for a 15-year-old girl who was shot by a Taliban gunman after daring to advocate education for girls and criticize the militant group. Malala Yousufzai, 15, was unconscious Thursday in critical condition after being shot in the head and neck as she left school on Tuesday, but doctors said she had moved her arms and legs slightly the night before.
