Russian Navy officers, officials and workers attended a ceremony for the launch of a Rostov-on-Don diesel-electric torpedo submarine at a shipyard where it was constructed in St. Petersburg on Thursday. The state-of-the-art submarine will be delivered to Russia's Black Sea fleet. The sub possesses advanced stealth technology, making it virtually undetectable when submerged, Russian media reported.
