Almost 100 years after they were killed in action in World War I, twenty British soldiers were reburied with full military honors Friday in a somber ceremony at a cemetery in northern France.
The bodies of the soldiers were discovered in 2010. Only one of the twenty, who were killed in the battle of Loos in 1915, has been identified. Private William McAleer from the 7th Battalion the Royal Scottish Fusiliers, whose great step-nephew Stephen McLeod is pictured above, was found with his identity tag.
The graves of the unidentified soldiers will be marked "Known unto God".
