Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin, the reggaeton artist from Medellin, Colombia continues to take the world by storm, regardless of language, with his new hit single "Bobo" with over 150 million views, and new album "Energia."
With 7 awards and over two-dozen nominations for his music, the Latino Singer topped the charts on YouTube and iTunes with the first-ever Latin single to hit 100 million views in just one month with "Bobo."

His album, "Energia" topped the charts in 16 countries after its release last week. The album title, which means energy in English has to do with electricity. J Balvin told Billboard, “I was in L.A., in the studio. And, that day everything that I touched shocked me,” when he was asked how he named the album.
His new single "Bobo" not on broke the Latin Music Video First Day Views Record, according to Billboard, the hit also sits in the Top 5 most music video views on YouTube. During its first 24 hours, the video collected 4.9 million views
According to Vibe, where J Balvin is the newest cover story, he credits his success to his Puerto Rican music icon, Daddy Yankee.
