What do you love the most about the work you do?

I love that I get to fight back and resist! And that I can learn and practice with our members, co-workers, and allies how to create and recreate collective power for this fight.

What is feminism to you?

Feminism is a necessary, relevant, and urgent "call to arms" to center women and to do so at the intersection of gender, race, class, ability, sexual orientation, and age.

Can you pinpoint the moment when you decided to become a feminist? If you don’t consider yourself a feminist, why not?

I can't pinpoint a moment. My feminism derives from many experiences, discussions, and teachings, and it continues to grow in this context.

What is the best way we can all be “feminists”?

To proudly own and demonstrate our feminism.

Who are your “sheroes”?

My mother. She is a beautiful, powerful, and constant example of peace and mindfulness, survival against so many odds, authenticity, and trail blazing.

Favorite feminist anthem?

Queremos un mundo donde quepan muchos muchos ("We want a world in which many worlds fit.") - EZLN

Favorite feminist artist? (authors, singers, dancers, actors)

Cherrie Moraga and Gloria Anzaldua. When my mother gave me This Bridge Called My Back, edited by Moraga and Anzaldua, when I was about 15, so many wheels began to turn.
