Sunday night's Democratic presidential debate in Flint, a city where manufacturing jobs have been replaced by poisoned water, should have been on Bernie Sanders' turf. But Clinton came prepared for the CNN showdown and more than held her own, preventing Sanders from the clear victory he needs to change the trajectory of the race ahead of Michigan's primary on Tuesday. 3. Sanders Wins Maine Caucuses, Rubio Takes Puerto Rico Primary
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders won the Maine caucuses Sunday, NBC News projects. Sanders will win 15 of Maine's 30 delegates, while Clinton will be awarded eight. 4. O.J. Prosecutor: If Trial Were Today, It'd Probably Be Hung Jury
The Los Angeles prosecutor who tried and failed to convict O.J. Simpson says the infamous murder trial would probably end in a hung jury if it were held today. 5. Another Potential Part of MH370 Found
A few days after the discovery of debris that could be from doomed Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, another man said Sunday that he has possibly found more of the missing plane. The discovery was reported as hundreds of people gathered in Kuala Lumpur to commemorate two years since Flight MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014. Read more in NEWS.
6. 10 Killed in Taliban Suicide Bomb Attack on Pakistan Court
At least 10 people were killed Monday in a suicide attack on a court complex in northwest Pakistan. A Pakistan Taliban splinter group claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jamaatul Ahrar said it carried out the killings to avenge the hanging of a death-row prisoner regarded by some as a hero of Islam. Read more in NEWS.
7. Jimmy Carter Says He's Ending Cancer Treatments
Former President Jimmy Carter told an audibly relieved church congregation Sunday that he no longer needs cancer treatments and is ending them. Carter, 91, announced in August that he had a mass removed from his liver. The mass turned out to be melanoma, a dangerous form of skin cancer. Read more in NEWS.
