100 years ago, on June 28, 1914, an assassin in Sarajevo shot dead Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, lighting the fuse for World War I. To mark the anniversary, Bosnian Serbs today unveiled a statue of the gunman, Gavrilo Princip, who many Serbs regard as a hero fighting imperial impression. Ferdinand's pregnant wife was also killed in the attack.
