After the consumption of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, many in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities have been encouraging others to give back on #GivingTuesday and to consider giving to Asian American and Pacific Islander nonprofit organizations. December 1 marks the fourth annual recognition of#GivingTuesday, a global day which uses the power of social media and collaboration to encourage more people towards philanthropy and service, especially during the holiday season.
Over the past year and a half, NBC Asian America has reported on many AAPI nonprofit organizations that work in advocacy, voting rights, health, the arts, education, and more. NBC Asian America does not endorse every campaign or project from every organization, but would like to encourage you to visit each website and decide for yourself who to reach out to on this #GivingTuesday.
