On August 21, 80 members of Congress signed a letter authored by Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) demanding the House defund Obamacare in exchange for passing a clean CR.
Meet Rep. Ted Yoho. Yoho (R-FL), a signatory of Meadows’ letter. Yoho recently said of defaulting: ”I think we need to have that moment where we realize [we're] going broke. I think, personally, it would bring stability to the world markets.”
Last month MSNBC’s Chris Matthews asked Yoho this: “So you accept the fact that [President Obama] was a born American?” Yoho replied: “Uh, I’m not, no comment.”
