Father Dave Dwyer reacts to the Pope's latest interview and his intended changes for the Roman Catholic Church on Jansing and Company. 
There is a new papal attitude that has tripled the audience sizes in St. Peter’s Square. In an interview published Tuesday by La Republica, Pope Francis promised big changes to how the Vatican operates including an unprecedented move to open the books on the Vatican bank.
Father Dave Dwyer said while the Pope is “moving fast,” the Church leadership is not concerned about the overall mission of the Church changing its doctrine. He likens the Pope’s leadership to “a new CEO coming into a company, people might be concerned, am I still going to have my same office or my same expense account, but the mission of the company, they’re probably not too worried about.”
The Sirius XM Busted Halo Show host noted that the Pope’s modus operandi changed throughout his career. He said that Francis led autocratically when he was in charge of the Jesuits, but now Francis listens to the people around him to make better decisions. The Pope learned to “appreciate the value of collegiality, listening.”
