New Yorkers Know Not to Line up For iPad

Apple fans clearly read the rumors and know better than to expect an iPad today, even though the announcement will come in about an hour.

Either that, or they are will be too busy watching and placing their orders online. (currently, the Apple Store is predictably down).

TechNewsDaily did a driveby past three of New York City’s five Apple stores: Fifth Avenue, Upper West Side and West 14th Street. One of them, the celebrated Fifth Avenue glass cube, had one satellite news crew – with nothing to do.

We’ll see soon if an iPad 3 is coming (duh!) and how soon you can get one.
