A Malaysian prince has denied claims by an Indonesian teen model that he slashed her with razor blades, locked her up and used her as a sex slave during their yearlong marriage, his lawyer said Friday.

Tengku Temenggong Tengku Mohammad Fakhry, the prince of northern Kelantan state, filed a police report Thursday against his 17-year-old wife and her mother for making false allegations, lawyer Mohamad Haaziq Pillay said.

Manohara Odelia Pinot returned to Indonesia late last month where she told media that Fakhry, 31, had held her captive and treated her as a sex slave. She reportedly claimed she was slashed with razor blades and usually kept locked in her bedroom.

The socialite has filed a police report in Indonesia.

Mohamad Haaziq said his client was also considering suing Pinot and her family over the claims, which he described as a "big lie" and "defamation."

"The prince categorically denies each and every allegation," he told The Associated Press. "It's his position, his dignity" that are being tarnished.

Pinot married Fakhry last year after she turned 16. She allegedly escaped from her husband late last month while accompanying the royal family on a trip to Singapore.

Her mother, Daisy Fajarina, has told media she was barred from seeing her daughter and that Pinot had been kidnapped.

The Kelantan royal family has also denied these accusations.
