Authorities say six people were hurt in an explosion and fire Friday at a furniture factory in the southern Indiana city of Jasper.
A spokeswoman at Jasper Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center says none of the injuries is life threatening after several people were taken from the Indiana Laminates plant.
Officials said a fire apparently broke out in a dust collection system, and the fire has been put out. What caused the explosion is unclear. Fire Chief Kenny Hochgesang said some walls collapsed.
Jasper is about 130 miles southwest of Indianapolis and about 50 miles northeast of Evansville.
