King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands pose for a group photograph with President Barack Obama and other world leaders attending the Nuclear Security Summit 2014 at the Royal Palace Huis ten Bosch in The Hague, The Netherlands, on Monday.

The two-day summit, a long-planned event aimed at preventing nuclear terrorism, has been overshadowed by what G7 countries described as Russia's "illegal attempt" to annex Crimea. Russia's President Vladimir Putin was not in attendance but foreign minister Sergey Lavrov did take part. In the photo he stands on the left staircase, seventh from top.
