Bob Dylan is getting the band back together for his 37th studio album.

The legendary artist and activist announced a summer tour of the United States and Japan in support of his new album, "Fallen Angels," a follow-up to his 2015 record "Shadows in the Night," a collection of Frank Sinatra covers.

The 27-date U.S. tour also features a return to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. The last time Dylan performed at that venue was in 1965, when his performance was cut short after 17 minutes of jeers from an audience dismayed by his foray into electric music.

The new U.S. dates will feature Mavis Staples as the opening act. For every pair of tickets purchased, buyers will receive a redemption code for a CD of "Fallen Angels."

The U.S. tour is scheduled to begin on June 4, with two performances at the Chateau Ste Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Washington.
