The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon was rocking to cumbia-infused rhythms as global superstar Juanes performed "La Luz," a single from his new album "Loco de Amor."

"La Luz" is currently number 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart.

As Billboard reports, the album is a departure for the Grammy-winning Colombian performer. Instead of his more trademark electric guitar, this album features Colombia's traditional tiple as well as acoustic guitars and other instruments.

"Colombian music is in my blood, in my DNA," said Juanes. "It's the music I've heard since I was a child -- it's impossible to avoid."
