Scottish tour guide John Alasdair Macdonald says he's not a photographer." I just take some (photos) now and again to put on Facebook," he told the Herald Scotland. "It had been such a lovely weekend and the sky was so clear, I thought I would nip up the loch and take some photos using by little compact camera which I just point and shoot."

Whether or not it was a "fluke," as Macdonald says, he was in the right place at the right time when a meteor lit up the skies Sunday over Loch Ness. Many reported seeing the meteor in the area, but so far no one seems to have captured it as dramatically.
