After his brutal exercising accident at the beginning of the year, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid joked that he didn't get his nasty eye injury from "sparring with Manny."
On Wednesday, he got to talk about his recovery with the world boxing superstar himself on Capitol Hill.
Reid, still sporting a heavily bandaged eye, tweeted a photo of a meeting with Manny Paquiao Wednesday, saying he explained the injury to the famous champion boxer.
And, he added, he wants to see Pacquiao take on rival Floyd Mayweather.
The Nevada senator and Pacquiao are friendly; the boxer even campaigned for Reid during his tough 2010 re-election race.
