As relatives and friends mourn their loves ones, Malaysia Airlines has identified the countries that lost citizens in the Ukraine plane crash, with the Netherlands suffering the greatest loss of life.

President Barack Obama announced Friday that at least one American citizen, Quinn Lucas Schansman, died in the crash.

Flight 17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot out of the sky while flying over eastern Ukraine Thursday. The passenger plane, a Boeing 777, was carrying 298 people.
