Unemployment in America: Tracking the weekly jobless claims

America may be starting to shake the economic effects of the pandemic, but millions of people are still out of work.

NBC News is tracking the weekly unemployment figures, which show the number of people who filed for jobless benefits in a given week in each state across the country.

These graphics will be updated every Thursday before 11 a.m. ET.
