Marking the 70th anniversary of D-Day, car enthusiasts traveled all across Europe to the beaches of Normandy to show off their prized possessions.

Veterans, world leaders and hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world are expected to descend upon the beaches of Normandy this weekend to honor the 70th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.

The commemorations will begin on Friday, but the French coastline is already playing host to an impressive display of vintage Jeeps and military vehicles from all over Europe.

Car collector Enrico Paggi traveled from Northern Italy to Omaha Beach with his amphibious vehicle, the Ford GPA.He serves as president of the Club Veicoli Militari Storici, which maintains and rebuilds old military vehicles.

Paggi is just one of the hundreds of car collectors who have come to Normandy to show off their prized pieces of history.
