Flight attendants union president: Keep our safety 'out of politics'

Flight attendant representatives and allies gathered at Reagan National Airport on Monday to warn about the dangers of how another government shutdown would affect the aviation industry. Sara Nelson, the international president of the Association of Flight Attendants, called for demonstrations across the country’s airports should another shutdown occur on Friday.
