Giffords’ staffer to be honored at Capitol

Gabe Zimmerman was serving as Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ community outreach director when he was killed during the Jan. 8 shooting outside a supermarket in Tucson that left six people dead and 13 wounded, including Rep. Giffords. Family and a bipartisan group of House Members gathered in Washington, where lawmakers want to honor him by naming a meeting room at the Capitol Visitor Center in his memory.
