Medical examiner finds midtown Manhattan shooting suspect had low-grade C.T.E.

A medical examiner in New York City says an autopsy shows the suspect police say killed four people inside a midtown Manhattan skyscraper had low-grade C.T.E. The degenerative brain disease associated with contact sports can only be diagnosed after death. After the shooting, investigators found a suicide note in the suspect’s wallet, asking for his brain to be studied for C.T.E. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin reports.
