Lawyer for detained Georgetown student speaks out

Hassan Ahmad, the attorney representing Badar Khan Suri says "this is still the United States of America" and that the country does not punish people for "what they may have said, what they may have posted on social media" in response to Suri's detainment. Badar Khan Suri is in the U.S. on a student vida and was accused of “spreading Hamas propaganda” by the Department of Homeland Security.
