Severe storms drive rain, mudslides, and a rare tornado into southern California

In Malibu, an LA Fire Department SUV was toppled into the Pacific Ocean by powerful mudslides. An atmospheric river hit the Los Angeles area last night, flooding homes with mud, and cratering the roof of a supermarket. A rare tornado damaged homes in nearby Oxnard. NBC News’ Morgan Chesky reports from the storm zone.
