Columbia University said students who occupied Hamilton Hall face expulsion. More than half a century ago, the same building was occupied by protesters who opposed the Vietnam War. Protesters continued their demonstrations at other colleges, including Tulane and the University of Texas at Austin. More than 1,200 people have been arrested nationwide.
