Elon Musk Reinstates Former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account

This comes nearly two years after the former president was suspended “due to the risk of further incitement of violence” in the wake of the January 6th attack. The ban, intended to be permanent, was reversed by new Twitter owner Elon Musk who polled users on whether Trump should be allowed back. Trump has indicated he wouldn’t return to the platform, and will use his own platform, Truth Social.
