Candidates make final pitches to voters as Jan. 6 committee will release report by end of year

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) joined “Meet the Press” to discuss Democrats’ economic messaging ahead of the midterm elections. Sanders says Democrats are not to blame for inflation, but the Federal Reserve’s interest hikes are “hurting” the economy. Evan McMullin, Utah Independent senate candidate, talked about his plan in the Senate, if elected. McMullin says he would “not” caucus with either party. Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.) talked about the committee’s plan to release a final report by “the end of the calendar year.”
