Secret Service recovered $286 million in stolen Covid-19 relief funds

The Secret Service revealed its recovered $286 million stolen from pandemic relief given out by the Small Business Administration. Agents say scammers opened fraudulent accounts with fake and stolen personal information. Jason Kane, who is leading the secret service’s efforts to recover the stolen funds, said pandemic relief fraudsters are often overseas where they can evade arrest.
