Monkeypox cases on the rise in the U.S.

As monkeypox cases increase in the U.S., the vaccine is getting harder to come by. New York City is out of vaccine appointments as cases double every six days. Mayor Eric Adams sent a letter to the Biden administration urgently asking for more vaccine doses. The city accounts for about a fifth of the cases reported to the CDC. The White House said the FDA is inspecting more shots from a manufacturer in Denmark.
