Police officers say morale at an ‘all-time low’ after year of unrest

A survey of about 200 police departments finds that retirements are up 45 percent and resignations are up 18 percent when compared with the previous year. Officers in Portland, Oregon, tell NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez that morale is at an “all-time low.” Plus, we hear from officers in Folsom, California and Richmond, Virginia about recruiting and community relations.
