Monster Worldwide Inc., parent of career Web site Monster.com, on Monday said founder Jeff Taylor is leaving to start another Internet venture, capitalized with some seed money from Monster.
Monster did not disclose the nature of the startup but said the venture will not be employment-related and is still in early development. When he leaves in August, Taylor will consult Monster on strategic-issues and brand-building initiatives, the company said.
Taylor's responsibilities will be covered by current members of the company's executive team, Monster said.
