Federal agenices respond to allegations

"The number one priority of both the FBI and ICE -- indeed, the entire federal government -- is the protection of our citizens. Any and all terrorism leads are aggressively pursued by law enforcement authorities. Terrorism investigations by their nature are large in scope, multi-jurisdictional, and complex. There is often healthy debate about the best investigative approach to complex terrorism matters, but never at the expense of public safety or national security. ICE and the FBI have an established framework to discuss these issues, make decisions, and move forward in the best interests of the American public. On any given day, ICE and FBI agents work closely together on dozens of significant investigations around the country and the world. That spirit of cooperation is shared today by the leadership at the highest levels of both organizations, and will continue into the future."
