The jury has reached a decision in the criminal fraud trial of former WorldCom Inc. Chief Executive Bernard Ebbers, they said in a note to the court on Tuesday.
The verdict is expected to be announced shortly.
Ebbers, 63, is charged with fraud, conspiracy and filing false documents with regulators -- all of which relate to the $11 billion accounting scandal at the telecommunications company he founded. He faces up to 85 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
