The bodies of four men — all hit with multiple gunshot wounds — were discovered at an apartment complex Thursday night. Police called the carnage “a disturbance that got out of hand.”
Police found the body of one victim in the breezeway of the complex; three others were found in a second-floor apartment. All had been shot multiple times, police said.
Investigators were looking into whether the men became involved in a gunfight, and if drugs were involved.
Police homicide Lt. Mike Scoggins said the slayings resulted from “a disturbance that got out of hand.”
“It’s frightening to know they found four bodies down there in the building,” apartment resident Kiesha Anderson said. “You don’t know if the murderer is living here with you.”
