Officials Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Independence Hall

Crowds gathered today outside the black hills newest tourism attraction for the first ribbon cutting ceremony bringing many officials from the rapid city area chamber of commerce to Rapid City Mayor Sam Kooiker. The Independence Hall: home of the founding fathers is a patriotic themed tourism attraction housing one of the world’s only life size sculpture of the iconic painting "the declaration of independence" right here in the black hills. Following the ribbon cutting, the new replica liberty bell was rung in celebration.
