Martha Stewart’s sentencing on conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges has been moved to July 16 from July 8, prosecutors said Friday.

Notice of the change comes one day after prosecutors filed papers opposing the celebrity homemaker’s request for a new trial. Stewart’s lawyers are arguing her conviction should be thrown out based on accusations that a U.S. Secret Service laboratory committed perjury during testimony for the government.
