The driver of a vehicle who struck and seriously injured a man Wednesday morning along the southbound shoulder of Interstate 5 underneath the Harlow Road overpass in Eugene/Springfield area has been cited by Oregon State Police (OSP) following an investigation.

On June 19 at approximately 10:40 AM, Terry Brateng, age 58 of Dallas (OR), was struck by a 1990 Honda Accord driven by Kaitlyn Inman, age 20 from Springfield, as he walked near his stopped motorcycle.
Inman was cited by OSP for Failure to Drive Within a Lane.
